Portable balloon or fixed dome—which biogas option fits?

Quick-install flexible digesters suit many farms and homes, while fixed domes shine for long-term sanitation-linked systems.

Portable balloon or fixed dome—which biogas option fits?

Portable or flexible balloon digesters (often from about 8 m³ to 200 m³) install quickly. They expand as gas is produced and can supply cooking, lighting, heating, generators, or refrigeration when feedstock is steady.

Fixed dome systems sit below ground, commonly from about 4 m³ to 50 m³ for household and institutional use. They are strong long-term choices for homes, schools, and rural institutions—and can replace unhygienic pit latrines when designed as bio-latrine systems.

The best choice depends on site water access, permanence of the facility, waste type, and whether sanitation is part of the goal. Our feasibility visit maps those factors before you commit.
