Kanoni Dairies Biogas Plant

Farm fixed-dome digesters powering a 5.7 kVA biogas generator for water pumping and a cow spray race.

At Kanoni Dairies we built a 40 m³ fixed-dome biogas plant fed by dairy manure. Gas runs a 5.7 kVA generator used for water pumping and the spray race—cutting diesel use on site while digestate returns to the farm as fertiliser. The photo shows the dome necks and piping set into the dairy yard.

Green Valley Primary School Bio-Latrine

School biogas-latrine with a 20 m³ fixed-dome digester—cleaner toilets and cooking fuel for staff and pupils.

Green Valley Primary received a purpose-built biogas-latrine block linked to a 20 m³ fixed-dome digester. Human waste feeds the plant; gas supports institutional cooking and the site gains safer, lasting sanitation instead of a basic pit. The orange facility in the photo is the completed latrine block on site.

Portable / flexible balloon

Gardens of Prosperity Women Group

Flexible balloon digesters for a women’s group—heating, lighting, and easier manure management.

Working with Gardens of Prosperity, we installed portable/flexible balloon digesters (about 16 m³ class) for a community women’s group in Kabale. The bag digesters suit backyard and farm plots where a full masonry dome is harder to site, and supply gas for heating and lighting while improving how manure is handled.

Briquette Production – Bidi Bidi

Briquette production machinery and training for communities in Bidi Bidi—less charcoal pressure, more local enterprise.

In partnership with Dan Church Aid, TEE supported briquette production in the Bidi Bidi refugee settlement (Yumbe). We supplied/fabricated processing equipment and helped teams set up and run the line so organic residues become cooking fuel—reducing demand for wood charcoal and creating practical skills on site.

Biogas-Latrine – Kyangwali

40 m³ biogas-latrine with multiple stances—sanitation upgrade paired with renewable fuel for the settlement.

At Kyangwali we delivered a 40 m³ digester linked to a multi-stance biogas-latrine. The plant improves sanitation for many users at once and captures gas from feedstock that would otherwise be wasted—supporting cooking energy needs in a hard-to-reach settlement setting. Photo shows masonry dome works typical of this digester build.

Industrial consultancy

Molasses Waste-to-Energy Advisory

Industrial advisory on converting molasses waste streams into large-scale biogas energy potential (up to 8,600 m³).

TEE provided waste-to-energy consultancy for molasses and related industrial organic streams in the Njeru / Buikwe area, working with municipal and distillery stakeholders. The assignment focused on feedstock, plant scale, and energy-recovery options at one of the largest capacities in our work range—up to 8,600 m³. Visual shows the class of industrial biogas-to-power facility this advisory targets.
